Anti-wrinkle Aftercare

Following your antiwrinkle treatment, you will feel slight tenderness and swelling at the injection sites. You may also notice some slight bruising to some sites. If you have had treatment to your upper face, you may experience a headache afterwards. This is all normal and should subside over the coming days.

Do not touch the treatment sites as this can increase the chances of infection and the product spreading to another muscle.

No strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours

No other facial or aesthetic treatments to the area for a minimum of 2 weeks

No face down massages for the next 72 hours.

No active skin care (retinoids / vitamin A / AHA’s) products for 24 hours after treatment.

The product takes 14 days for full effect and it is recommended to attend a review at this time to assess the treatment outcome.

Fat dissolve aftercare

Avoid Aspirin and ibuprofen for pain to reduce the risk of bruising or bleeding.

Paracetamol is acceptable to use for pain relief.

Intermittent cooling with ice packs can be used post-procedure.

Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

Bruising may occur. Avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds and heat therapies for at least 48 hours.

Avoid hot baths and showers (tepid water only) for 5 days.

Nodules are not uncommon. They can last up to 8 weeks and usually disappear without any intervention.

Drink lots of fluids (water) for the first 24 hours.

Bio Stimulator Aftercare

Massage the treated areas five times a day for about 5 minutes for five days after treatment.  Then twice daily for two weeks.

Treated areas may be red, swollen, and bruised for the first 2-7 days.

Do NOT get a facial or massage for two weeks after your filler procedure.

Avoid strenuous workouts and alcohol for 48-72 hours. Gentle walking and light weights are ok provided you do not break a sweat.

If bruising occurs, continue Arnica supplements.

Bruising can be covered with makeup.

A few days after treatment, you will look as you did before treatment. This is normal, as the volume achieved immediately following treatment will be absorbed and used to build your own collagen.

PDO Mono Thread aftercare

Avoid aspirin and ibuprofen for 48 hours. 

If pain is experienced, paracetamol can be taken as needed. Discomfort is normal after a thread lift, there may be residual tenderness for up to 4 weeks post-treatment. 

To prevent the risk of infection, avoid touching the treated area with your fingers. 

Sleep face up, elevated on pillows for 7 nights minimum, preferably 2 weeks. 

Wash and pat dry your face gently without rubbing for 5 days. Do not use active ingredients in your skincare for 5 days. 

Avoid shaving (men) for one week. 

Please avoid any heat-inducing activities, including exercise of any kind aside from gentle walking, swimming pools, spas, saunas and tanning for a minimum of 2 weeks.

No dental work for 4 weeks post-treatment. 

No facials or skin treatments for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment. We advise against dermal filler injections for 3 months post-treatment to minimise any cross-reactivity between the products.

Do not massage the treatment area unless instructed to do so.

Dermal Filler Aftercare

Following your dermal filler treatment, you will feel tender, a little swollen and bruising may be apparent. This is all normal and should subside over the coming days. Below is a list of post treatment instructions to promote healing.

Do not rub or touch the treatment areas for at least the next 4 – 6 hours to minimize your risk of infection.

No strenuous exercise for the next 24 – 48 hours

No other facial or aesthetic treatments to the area for a minimum of 2 weeks

No face down massages for the next 7 days.

No active skin care (retinoids / vitamin A / AHA’s) products for 24 hours after treatment.

Do not massage, press or push the areas injected unless otherwise directed by your practitioner.
